SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.  It is the practice of increasing the QUALITY and QUANTITY of the website’s ORGANIC TRAFFIC through organic search engine results.

 

WHAT IS SEO?

SEO mainly works on different parts:

QUALITY :   Quality defines that the backlinks you made for your site, must be qualitative and the best in the world.

QUANTITY :  Quantity defines that the backlinks should be in heavy quantity but they shouldn’t be made instantly, they should be made time to time.

ORGANIC TRAFFIC :  Organic Traffic is must be in the SEO because it increases your value of domain/sites in a positive manner. If your traffic doesn’t get much organic traffic then it increases your Spam Score which decreases your Domain/site’s value.

HOW SEO WORKS:

There are two types of SEO’s that must be used in the website:

ON PAGE:  ON-PAGE SEO means that the SEO works on the website i.e., you have to do SEO on your website’s page or post in order to get ranking on specific keywords. For ON-PAGE SEO, there must be 2 things we must have to follow:- 

 KEYWORDS: Keywords are ideas and topics that define what your content is about. In terms of SEO, they’re the words and phrases that searchers enter into search engines, also called “search queries.” If you boil everything on your page — all the images, video, copy, etc. — down to simple words and phrases, those are your primary keywords.

 CONTENT:  There should be the content on your website, just because it is one of the key features for ON-PAGE SEO. Content writing is the process of planning, writing, and editing web content, typically for digital marketing purposes. It can include writing blog posts and articles, scripts for videos and podcasts.

OFF-PAGE: OFF-PAGE SEO means publicizing your web page or post to other websites having high DA and PA. The most important thing for OFF-PAGE SEO:

BACKLINKS:

WHAT ARE BACKLINKS – Backlinks are the links that has to be created on directory submission sites, social bookmarking, blog submission, and many more. Backlinks increase exposure and visits on webpage or website visitors increases accordingly. Backlinks are of 2 types – internal and external :

INTERNAL – Links that are given internally on our website and for the website.

EXTERNAL – When links are given on other websites. External links are of 2 types- inbound and outbound-

INBOUND – When someone gives a link for our website on his/her own page.

OUTBOUND – When we give the link of someone’s website to our website. Outbound links are of 2 types-

NOFOLLOW – In this type of link, we provide links to other websites but we cannot recommend that website to google.

DOFOLLOW – In this type of link, google will consider it as a recommendation.

 


There are lot of SEO techniques, that are used for making SEO works. There are different techniques for ON-PAGE and OFF-PAGE SEO that are used frequently to increase the visibility of website and in order to reach more users.
